We buy components the way a machine shop buys stock: from whoever makes the right part. No territory deals, no volume commitments, no house brand hiding behind a fitting fee.
Independence Is a Purchasing Decision
Plenty of shops describe themselves as independent while carrying an inventory shaped entirely by one supplier's dealer programme. The tell is not what the sign says, it is what happens when a customer's best answer is a component the shop does not stock.
Our answer in that case is to order it. That costs us margin and a few days of turnaround, and it is the whole reason to run an independent bench in the first place.
The list below is what we hold in the racks today. It moves as models come and go, and it is not a ranking.
Anything not in stock can usually be sourced within a week. If a component is discontinued, we will tell you plainly rather than steering you toward whatever is on the shelf.

We are not an authorised retailer for every one of these in every category, and we will tell you when a purchase is better made elsewhere. What we can always do is build and spec whatever you own.
The Small Parts Matter More Than Their Price
A grip is the only part of the club you touch and it is the cheapest thing in the build. Tape layer count, core size, and installed diameter all change how the hands work, and all of it goes on your card so the next regrip reproduces the feel instead of resetting it.
Ferrules are cosmetic until they are not: a ferrule seated on an unprepared hosel hides a poor glue joint. We turn ours down on the lathe after curing, which is slower and looks like it should.
